All Paws for a Golden Cause is your opportunity to trade dog stories, meet fellow Rescue members and friends, and enjoy a day of fun and educational activities while you help YGRR. All proceeds from this special day will be used for the veterinary care and boarding of Rescue Goldens awaiting adoption.

Festivities and activities will begin at 11:00 am and will run until 4:00 pm. Events are scheduled throughout the day. Dog Walk Fees: $5.00 individual, $10.00 per family.

You may take the walk anytime between 11:00 am and 3:00 pm. The complete walk is 3 miles long. Distance signs will be posted along the path so you can choose the distance you want to walk round trip.

Rain or shine, don't miss the thrill of participating in this important event and meeting many of YGRR's beautiful Rescue Goldens. Bring your dog, or come alone, but please join us for this very special YGRR family day. Suitable footwear should be worn in the event of rain.

Bring a picnic lunch or buy hamburgers, hotdogs, sandwiches and snacks from our outdoor grill. And be sure to save room for a trip to the ice cream truck!

Demo Ring Events will include*

• Freestyle – (a musical, choreographed performance by a dog and handler)
• Obedience and Utility by the Charles River Dog Training Club
• Parade of Rescue Dogs - 12 Noon
  
• Costume contest - 1:30pm - (bring your dog's favorite Halloween costume. 1st, 2nd & 3rd place prizes will be given for the best costumes. Mark Rosenthal, local radio and television meteorologist and YGRR dog owner, is our celebrity judge)
