As the days grow longer and the temperature moderates, we will be spending greater amounts of time outdoors with our dogs. A little common sense and awareness of some of the season's hazards will make your outdoor time pleasurable and safe. Cookout Temptations
Be cautious at outdoor meals this summer. Your dog may be
tempted by a varity of items: corn on the cob which can lodge
in his intestines; onions (raw and cooked) which can cause the
oxidation of his red blood cells; beer which will make him drunk
and possibly stumble and hurt himself.
